Terms and Conditions

Bukas Loob Sa Diyos Covenant Community – Toronto District is undertaking our first major fund-raising project, the BLD RAFFLE 2011.

Our community was granted an Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario Lottery License No. M683275 by the Gaming Services office of the City of Toronto last June 2, 2011.  The BLD RAFFLE 2011 was launched during the Homecoming 2011 last June 4th, our spring fellowship night in Humberwood Community Centre, Rexdale, Toronto.

Funds raised from the BLD RAFFLE 2011 will greatly help our Evangelization programs, i.e. ME, SE, SPE, YE, FE & LSS, and also our Mission work.

Raffle tickets are now on sale every Friday at the basement hall of Our Lady of Assumption Church until the final draw date.

Raffle ticket is $10.00 each. The final draw date will be during our Community Day celebration on September 16th, 2011 at the basement hall of Our Lady of Assumption Church, at 10:00 p.m. after the Eucharistic celebration.

The BLD RAFFLE 2011 prizes are:

1. Brand new MAZDA 5 Minivan (Model 2010) (supplied by Ronnie Reyes - FE#3, Mazda of Brampton)
2. CARRIBEAN CRUISE Voucher for Two (2) worth $3,000 (valid till August 2012)  -  (supplied by Cecile Barrientos, ME#8)
3. 12-Day Pilgrimage/Tour of the HOLY LAND, PARIS and LOURDES for 2*,  October 11th  -  22nd, 2011 (supplied by Ernie/Sophie Buenaventura, ME#2)
   
   *EARLY-BIRD PRIZE to be drawn during the BLD Picnic in MARY LAKE SHRINE,  Picnic Area, King City on July 16th, 2011 @ 3:00 p.m.

Terms and Conditions

Three (3) prizes will be awarded, with a total value of $30,000.00 (including all taxes and freight).
Only 12,000 tickets will be sold.

CONTEST GUIDELINES

Purchasers must be at least 18 years of age. Tickets must be purchased in the province of Ontario. Only tickets that have been paid for and the respective ticket stubs returned to the Treasury Ministry of Bukas Loob Sa Diyos Covenant Community at Our Lady of Assumption Church, 2565 Bathurst Street, Toronto, Ontario  M6B 2Z3 are eligible to be entered for the respective draw(s).

Ticket purchases are not tax deductible.

The liability of the licensee of this lottery shall be limited to the purchase price of the ticket.

DRAW ORDER

The first draw* will be for the Early Bird Prize, a 12-Day Pilgrimage/Tour of the HOLY LAND, PARIS and LOURDES for 2, October 11th - 22nd, 2011. The prize is an all-expense paid travel package for two (2) (trip itinerary available at www.bldtoronto.org/BLDRaffle2011) organized by Gideon Travel and Tours of Mississauga, Ontario. The winner of the Early-bird prize can transfer the travel package to another person/s but the prize cannot be converted to cash. The winning stub of the Early-Bird draw will also be eligible and included for the final draw.

Only tickets purchased and ticket stubs and payment returned to the Treasury Ministry or the Raffle Team by 2:00 p.m., July 16, 2011 will qualify for the Early-Bird Prize draw. The Early-Bird Prize draw (1 prize) will take place on July 16, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at the BLD Toronto Picnic in MARY LAKE SHRINE, PICNIC AREA, King City.

The second and final draw** will be for the 2 major prizes:

1. Brand new MAZDA 5 Minivan (Model 2010) – winner will receive ownership of the vehicle but will arrange and pay for the car registration with the Ministry of Transportation and the required vehicle insurance coverage. The prize is not convertible to cash.
2. CARRIBEAN CRUISE Voucher for Two (2) worth $3,000 (valid till August 2012) - winner will arrange with Toronto East CruiseShip Centres for their choice of the Caribbean Cruise package and date of travel. The prize is not convertible to cash.

Unsold raffle tickets should be returned to the Treasury Ministry or the Raffle Team of Bukas Loob Sa Diyos Covenant Community on September 9, 2011, 9:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Assumption Church, 2565 Bathurst Street, Toronto, Ontario  M6B 2Z3. Tickets not returned by September 9, 2011 will be considered sold. Only tickets purchased by 7:00 p.m., September 16, 2011 deadline will qualify for the Major Prizes draw.

The final draw (2 prizes) will take place during the BLD Toronto Community Day Celebration on September 16, 2011 at 9:00 p.m. at the basement hall of Our Lady of Assumption Church, 2565 Bathurst Street, Toronto, Ontario  M6B 2Z3.

* In the event that all tickets are sold by 10:00 p.m., July 15, 2011, then all draws will made on July 16, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at the BLD Toronto Picnic at MARY LAKE SHRINE, PICNIC AREA, King City. In the event that tickets remain after the Early Bird deadline, then only the Early Bird draw would be made on July 16, 2011.

**The final deadline for ticket sales is 7:00 p.m., September 16, 2011. The final draw will be held during the BLD Toronto Community Day Celebration on September 16, 2011 at 9:00 p.m. at the basement hall of Our Lady of Assumption Church, 2565 Bathurst Street, Toronto, Ontario  M6B 2Z3, starting with the lowest valued prize and concluding with the top valued prize. The winning stub of the Early-Bird draw will be included for the final draw. After each draw, the winner is recorded.

PRIZE WINNER NOTIFICATION

All winners will be notified in writing and also by telephone and Email as to what they have won and where to claim their prizes. All prize winners will be published in The Philippine Reporter and a complete list of winners will be posted online at www.bldtoronto.org/BLDRaffle2011. If all draws are completed on July 16, 2011, winners will be published on Monday, July 18, 2011 on the BLD website, www.bldtoronto.org/BLDRaffle2011 and the next issue of The Philippine Reporter. If all draws are completed on September 16, 2011, list of winners will be published on Monday, September 19, 2011 on the BLD website, www.bldtoronto.org/BLDRaffle2011 and the next issue of The Philippine Reporter. PRIZE CLAIM

Vacation prizes will be awarded to the purchaser of the winning ticket upon presentation of the winning stub. The prize winner shall contact the prize supplier to make travel arrangements. The winner shall forfeit the vacation prizes if not used during the date prescribed (October 11th - 22nd, 2011 for the 12-Day Pilgrimage/Tour of the HOLY LAND, PARIS and LOURDES for 2 and CARRIBEAN CRUISE Voucher for 2 worth $3,000 valid for use till August 31, 2012).

The MAZDA 5 Minivan (Model 2010) must be accepted as awarded. If the Mazda 5 Minivan is not claimed, it shall be secured or placed in safekeeping for a period of one year from the date of the draw. If at that time the prize has still not been claimed, it shall be sold at fair market value and the proceeds will be deposited to the account of the licensee.
